Cattle Care and Sales
Receiving Cattle
We would appreciate as much
notice as possible on incoming cattle. We operate our yards
at full capacity and advance notice assures
your cattle the proper attention they deserve. We prefer
moving add-on loads to a common ration before we combine
them. We can do the best job when we receive the entire lot
in one shipment.
Animal Health
Individualizing the health
treatment of each group is the secret to a successful animal
health program. The more we know about the background of the
cattle and previous records, the better we can tailor the
program to fit the needs of the cattle. Dead loss is reported in real time on the web site and
benchmarks to industry averages are available. Dead cattle
will be picked up by the renders and the nominal expense will be
posted to the Lot as removal expense. Our experienced
management group will work with the cattle owner in order to
manage any severe or
unusual health problems with your cattle.
Our consulting vet is Dr. Tom Latta. Effective health
programs are the result of effective
communication between the cattle owner and yard management.
Cattle Sales
We are working constantly to
develop beef programs that will maximize your margins on
feeding cattle. Our current marketing program is
focused in developing a source verified more consistent beef
product that will become recognized in the marketplace for
added value. We provide immediate live and
carcass reports to you as soon as the information is
available. Customers may log on to this web site
through assigned passwords and view any information in real
time.
Texas Beef guarantees all sales
